Violet Co is Australia's dedicated sexual assault legal practice — survivor-led, Indigenous-owned, and a certified social enterprise. Registering costs nothing, and if a group forms, we represent you without charge.

Your record is legally privileged, held in Australia, and seen only by our legal team. The person you name is never contacted. You can pause, withdraw or have everything deleted at any time.

Anyone 18 or over, anywhere in Australia
There is no time limit on registering. It doesn't matter whether it happened last month or thirty years ago, whether you were a child, a teenager or an adult, or whether you have ever told anyone before. Some legal steps do have time limits, and they differ depending on the kind of claim — a solicitor will talk you through what applies to you.
You don't need to be sure it "counts". You don't need to have reported to police — and recording here never stops you from doing so, at any time.
